Wayfinder's Journey

This piece is made with picture jasper and carnelian. It also features a Vegvísir or “Wayfinder” symbols surrounded by the Elder Futhark letters from the Norse tradition. They represent stages of the journey and could be compared to the stages on the Hero’s Journey. Picture jasper is a stone of travel, landscape wisdom, Earth magic, storytelling and adventure. Carnelian is a stone of action, movement, enthusiasm and motivation. A piece for those travelling, as well as for those seeking guidance in the adventure of life.
