Taliesin - God of Creativity and Source of Inspiration
The greatest Bard of Britain, a shapeshifter and initiate into the mysteries of Awen, the creative inspiring spirit of the Bardic arts, the sacred breath of poets and storytellers. He was chased by Ceridwen through the realms of Land, Sea and Sky as a Hare, a Fish and a Wren. He was consumed as a grain of wheat and reborn, was set upon the waters to be discovered and named Taliesin “The Shining Brow” at the weir of Gwyddno Garanhir. This piece is made with sodalite and citrine and features a triple spiral design. Sodalite is a stone of insight, inspiration and wisdom, wordcraft, poetry and performance. It helps us to navigate the worlds of spirit, shapeshift in the inner realms, and expand our consciousness into other ways of being. Citrine is a stone of creativity, clarity and confidence. It helps us to bring insights into being. The triple spiral represents the three drops of Awen that emerged from the cauldron, and the three realms of Land, Sea and Sky.
