Gwyar - Bloodline and Flow

Gwyar is the Welsh word for “flowing” or “fluidity” that also symbolises the bloodline and our ancestral connection to those who have lived before us. It represents the connections of family and relationship, the healing we find in relationship and how this is related to identity and our understanding of the self. This piece is made with red jasper and dragon’s blood jasper. It also features a triple spiral design. Red jasper is a stone of the blood, the life-force energy, and our connection to the wisdom of the body as we experience the senses and our physicality. Dragon’s blood jasper is a stone of ancestral healing, identity, and self-awareness. The triple spiral here represents the ancestors of blood, tradition and the land that all inspire us.
