Dôn - Goddess of the Earth

Dôn is the Great Earth Mother Goddess and personification of the Earth itself. She is the divine originator of the family of Welsh deities known as the Children of Dôn. She is in some ways related to the Irish Goddess Danu whose name is threaded through all the lands of Europe. She is the Great Mother, the creatrix, the nurturer, the guide to spirits and source of wisdom. She is the land and its fertility and sovereignty; the creative essence within soil and seed.

This piece is made with azurite-malachite combination stone and moss agate and features a Goddess symbol and oak leaves. Azurite-Malachite is a stone of the Earth, of empowering wisdom, of nature connection and the wild knowing and deep confidence in oneself that comes from a close relationship with the land. Moss agate is nurturing and grounding, bringing us into presence and encouraging us to find peace in the natural world.
