Ceridwen - Goddess of Knowledge and Inspiration
Cerridwen is the Welsh Goddess of inspiration, who was central to the story of Gwion Bach, the young boy who brews the Awen, is chased by Cerridwen in a shapeshifting journey through Land, Sea and Sky, and is reborn through her to become Taliesin, the greatest Bard of Britain. Cerridwen is a source of inspiration for all Bards and artists, A Goddess of prophecy, magic, shapeshifting and initiation into the mysteries. This piece is made with snakeskin jasper, labradorite and smoky quartz. Ceridwen wears the Awen symbol upon her brow. Snakeskin jasper is a stone of liminality; worlds between worlds; initiation, rebirth and transformation. Labradorite is a stone of initiation into the mysteries, magic, ritual and our relationship with the divine. Smoky quartz is a stone of transformation, change, rebirth and renewal. It helps us to put spiritual wisdom into practical action.
