Brigid's Fire

This piece is made with a beautiful jasper with a fiery pattern symbolic of the hearth fire or the smith’s forge, and a small fiery red carnelian. Brigid, Goddess of three aspects as smith, midwife/healer and poet stands at the threshold of being, bringing into life creative works at the forge, children and health at the sacred well, and inspiration through the creative spark. At her fire we ask for her blessing and tend her flame of inspiration. The stones in this piece represent Brigid’s fire. The triple spiral her three aspects.  
 
The necklace is made with hand tooled leather. The cord fastening is dark brown and has a sliding knot so it will fit most people. The stone is surrounded by resin clay sculpted designs.
