Creating a Local Wheel of the Year - For Regenerative Farmers
Duration: 1 hour
This talk was created for the regenerative agriculture farming community with the support of Gemma Green from Creating Resilience. In it Julie Brett explores the concept of creating a local wheel of the year for the Australian environment. She presents information on the "traditional" wheel of the year, as well as her own local wheel for coastal Sydney, and shares tools and methods for working on creating your own local wheel of the year for the area you live in. The focus gave particular attention to the role of agriculture, community and creating meaningful celebrations that help bring people back to recognising the sacredness of the earth. Though the focus was regenerative farmers, anyone interested in creating a local wheel of the year will get a lot out of this talk.
