This design can be made to order. It is 6.5cm wide. Please let me know your preferred wrist measurement when ordering so it can be made to fit you. I have two made in tan brown and red brown, but it can also be made in black on request. The design is traditional and comes from a tiny panel on the famous Brooch of Tara. It features two intertwined hounds, which is a common motif in Celtic knotwork art. The hounds can relate to the legendary warrior Cú Chulainn in the Táin Bó Cúailnge, whose name means ‘Hound of Culann’. The hound also represents loyalty, protection and guidance. You can read more about the symbolism of the Dog (Cú) in The Druid Animal Oracle by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm.
The two pictured will fit 17-18cm wrist measurement.
