Rune Reader's Headdress

This headdress is made with black leather inscribed with the runes of the Elder Futhark on either side of the front piece. The front piece is made with amethyst, rainbow moonstone and rainbow hematite. Each letter of the runes represents not only a sound, but various concepts and ideas that can be used in magic by reading runes in divination or creating runic magic such as bindrune symbols. Amethyst is a stone that brings spiritual awareness, psychic vision, and is associated with magic, ritual and divination. Moonstone has similar qualities, also increasing our intuitive faculties and encouraging us to work with the magic of the moon and its cycles. Rainbow hematite balances the rainbow body and the energy centres within us, helping us to feel balanced and at peace. This is a great piece to wear during ritual, or when working with Runic magic. The leather band goes around half the head. On the ends are cords that fasten with a sliding knot. The size can be adjusted to any head size. The cords have amethyst beads on the ends.
