Bardic Discipline

These pieces are made with dumortierite. It also includes the symbol of the triquetra. Dumortierite is a stone of discipline, eloquence and the voice. It is excellent for study, learning by memory, and visualisation. Bardic skill and wisdom centers on the importance of inspiration as Awen, or Imbas, and storytelling through the arts as a means of transferring wisdom. It is through the Bards that tales are shared, understood in their depths, and passed on to others. Stories are found in all forms of art, whether in literal storytelling, poetry, song, music or crafts and artworks. Finding the way that we wish to tell our own stories, and the stories we love, is the path of the Bard. Dumortierite helps us to find the disciplined wisdom to do so.
